Christmas Baptism

Christmas is a time of gifts. People shop for months to find the right gift for their kids & their families. (Or at least, they spend an hour on Amazon.) 

God also gave us the perfect gift on Christmas. He sent his Son Jesus to be our Savior from sin. Jesus grew up and fulfilled that promise. He lived perfectly, died innocently and rose triumphantly for our forgiveness. 

Baptism is another amazing gift from God. In baptism, God connects us to our Savior Jesus in a physical, tangible, visual way. 

Look at some of the gifts that the Bible describes as part of baptism.

FORGIVENESS: 
"Be baptized and wash your sins away." (Acts 22:16) 

CHRIST'S CLOTHING: 
All of you who have been baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ." (Galatians 3:27) 

RENEWAL & REBIRTH: 
"He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit." (Titus 3:5-7) 

A NEW START: 
"We were buried with Jesus through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead...we too live a new life." (Romans 6:4) 

Baptism is the perfect gift for YOURSELF or for YOUR CHILD. 

REMEMBER:
Jesus commanded, "Go and make disciples of all nations by baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." (Mt. 28:19)

You're included in that promise. 
So are your kids.
